이곳 가야로스터스에서는 우유로 만든 실타래 모양의 빙수에 살짝 얼린 홍시를 함게 내어 줍니다.

Here at Gayarosters, they serve shaved ice in the shape of threads made with milk, with slightly frozen persimmons.

우유로 만든 빙수의 근접사진이에요

실타래 모양이 보이시나요? 혹 실타래를 모르실라나?

예전에는 어느 집에서나 어머니들께서 바느질을 하셨지요.

겨울이 끝나면 겨우내 사용했던 두거운 솜이불의 호창을 띁어내고 세탁을 한후 다시 바느질을 해서 보관을 하셨던 기억이 납니다. 그때 사용하던 바늘은 꽤 두껍고 길었던 기억이 나구요, 실타래를 가지고 장난쳤던 기억도 납니다.

In the past, mothers in every household sewed.
I remember that when winter ended, they would take out the thick cotton blankets that they had used all winter, wash them, sew them again, and store them. I remember that the needles they used were quite thick and long, and I also remember playing with the thread.

얼린 홍시 하나를 6조각으로 자른 뒤 민트 잎으로 마감을 했네요.

그릇은 순백색이고 거기에 담긴 홍시의 주황색과  녹색 민트의 색조화가 참 세련되어 보입니다. 

눈으로 먹고, 향기로 먹고, 맛으로 먹고~ 

One frozen persimmon cut into 6 pieces and finished with mint leaves.
The bowl is pure white, and the orange color of the persimmon and the green mint in it look very sophisticated.
Eat with your eyes, eat with your scent, eat with your taste~

요건 홍시를 갈아 만든 건데 쨈보다는 묽었거든요.. 죽이나 스프 같은 걸죽한 식감이었어요. 

그냥 떠먹어도 좋고, 빙수에 뿌려 먹어도 좋았어요 

This is made by grinding persimmons, but it is thinner than jjamppong. It has a thick texture like porridge or soup.
It is good to eat as is, or sprinkled on shaved ice.

코코넛 칩인데 다소 밋밋할수 있는 빙수에 씹는 식감을 주는 역할을 한것 같아요

그냥 먹어도 좋고, 뿌려 먹어도 좋아요. 

우린 그냥 먹었어요 ^^

It's coconut chips, and I think it gave a chewy texture to the somewhat bland shaved ice.
You can eat it as is, or sprinkle it on.
We just ate it ^^

드디어, 사진촬영을 마치고 공격개시에요 

우리 공주님들과 함께 음식을 먹을때는 인정사정없이 돌진해야 해요

머뭇 머뭇 하다가는 순식간에 빈 접시만 남게 되거든요

초등학교 4학년(11살)의 소녀들에게 흔히 있는 일이겠죠?

좀더 자라서 숙녀가 되면 품격있게 변할거라고 믿기에 걱정은 접어 둘께요 ^^

When eating with our princesses, you have to rush in without hesitation
If you hesitate, you'll end up with an empty plate in no time
This is probably common for 4th grade (11 years old) girls, right?
I'll stop worrying because I believe that when she grows up a bit and becomes a lady, she'll change into something classy ^^

아내가 적극 추천했던 꽃향기가 나는 커피에요

따뜻한 아메리카노를 시켰는데, 아카시아와 비슷한 꽃향기가 났어요.

원두자체에 꽃향기가 나는 것일지 정확히는 모르겠지만,

내심 추론해 본다면 아카시아꿀을 한 숟가락 타면 이런 맛과 향이 나지 않을까 예상해 봅니다.  

This is the flowery coffee that my wife strongly recommended.
I ordered a warm Americano, and it had a floral scent similar to acacia.
I don't know for sure if the coffee beans themselves have a floral scent,
but if I were to guess, I would expect that if I added a spoonful of acacia honey, it would taste and smell like this.

※ 카페 하면 일반적으로 스타벅스, 투썸플레이스 등 대형 프랜차이즈를 간다거나 간편하게 메가커피, 컴포즈커피 등 저가형 커피전문점에서 테이크아웃을 이용하죠

하지만 한번쯤 개인이 운영하는 카페에 가보면 복잡하지 않고, 조용하고 차분한 분위기에서 차와 디저트, 분위기를 함께 막을수 있는 것 같아서 좋더라구요. 그동안 다양한 메뉴가 추가된것 같네요.

얼마 지나지 않아 날이 더워지면 공주들을 데리고 방문을 해야겠습니다. 

※ When it comes to cafes, people usually go to large franchises like Starbucks or Twosome Place, or simply take out from low-priced coffee shops like Mega Coffee or Compose Coffee.
However, if you go to a cafe run by an individual, it’s not too crowded, and you can enjoy tea, dessert, and the atmosphere in a quiet and calm atmosphere, so it’s nice.

It seems like they’ve added various menus over time. When the weather gets warmer soon, I’ll have to visit with my princesses.
